Mr. Abdullah Khaled AlZamel
Chairman of the Board

Abdullah Khaled AlZamel chairs the Board of Directors of Cultural Assets Group, where he leads the board with a strategic vision focused on advancing the cultural and creative economy in Saudi Arabia, and strengthening the role of the cultural industry as a key driver of development in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
In addition to his role at the Group, Abdullah serves as Chief Executive Officer of Raz Amwal. He also holds a number of leadership positions across investment, entrepreneurship, and fintech, and is actively involved in companies and initiatives within the cultural and creative industry.
He has worked with leading corporations and government entities, contributing to advisory efforts and the development of national initiatives and transformative projects. His career is grounded in extensive strategic and investment experience, spanning company building, partnership development, and the leadership of high-impact investments and initiatives, supporting the growth of emerging sectors and strengthening their economic contribution.

Princess Tarfah Fahad Al Saud
Vice Chair of the Board

Princess Tarfah Bint Fahad Al Saud is a cultural leader, curator, and multidisciplinary creative with over a decade of experience shaping Saudi Arabia’s cultural landscape.
Her work spans cultural heritage curation, human-led experience design, creative strategy, cultural programming, and visual arts. She currently serves as Cultural Heritage Assets Curation Director at a government entity, where she has also held a series of senior creative and advisory roles. Earlier in her career, she worked at the Misk Art Institute during its establishment phase, as well as with several international studios, and a number of film and creative production initiatives.
Her own artistic practice, combined with a background in art therapy and coaching, shapes Tarfa's multidisciplinary approach to the cultural landscape and her support for creative communities. Her work is driven by a commitment to innovative approaches, fostering human connection, and exploring cultural identity.

Eng. Adnan Abdulrahman AlMansour
Board Member

Eng. Adnan Al Mansour brings over 45 years of executive and advisory experience in engineering, quality management, strategic planning, and leadership.
He began his career as a Projects Engineer at the Ministry of Finance before serving for more than two decades at the Saudi Electricity Company, where he held the role of Deputy General Manager for Executive Affairs.
He later served as CEO of Zamil Steel, leading the company through a significant phase of growth and industrial development. Today, he continues to contribute as a senior consultant and as an active board and committee member across listed companies, public entities, and nonprofit organizations. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals and has completed executive programs at Ashridge and Stanford University.

Dr. Obaid Saad AlMotairy
Board Member

Dr. Obaid Saad Almotairy is an experienced governance, audit, and financial oversight professional with more than 30 years of leadership across higher education, corporate boards, audit committees, and national regulatory bodies. He is widely recognized for his expertise in board governance, IFRS, internal controls, financial reporting quality, and risk and compliance frameworks. Dr. Almotairy currently serves as Vice President of Al Yamamah University and has held several senior academic leadership roles, including Founding Dean of the Business School at Sulaiman Al Rajhi University. His board and committee experience includes positions at Naqi Water Company, Al Rajhi International for Investment, EMKAN, Neoleap, and Al-Watania Poultry. He holds a PhD in Accounting from the University of Essex.
Mr. Bassam Mohammed AlWabel
Board Member

Bassam Alwabel is a finance and investment leader with broad experience across banking, government transformation, venture building, and private equity. His career spans leadership and advisory roles in both the public and private sectors, including the Ministry of Economy and Planning, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, and Riyad Bank. He has also co-founded and supported multiple ventures and investment platforms, including Growth Square Investment Co., The Space Co. Ltd., and Rimthan, while serving as Vice Chairman of the Board of Raz Pre-IPO Fund. Bassam holds an MSc in Finance from Johns Hopkins University and a BBA in Finance from AlYamamah University, graduating magna cum laude.
Eng. Bassam Murad Alrefi
Board Member

Bassam Alrefi is a founding partner with deep expertise in experience strategy, immersive technology, and end-to-end delivery across the cultural and creative industries. He currently serves as a Board member at Cultural Assets Group, where he supports overall strategy and portfolio growth across museums, destinations, and intellectual property platforms. Prior to this, he co-founded Backyard Symphony and helped build it into a leading Saudi experiential company, delivering more than 250 projects for 48+ clients across 20 sectors. He began his career at Saudi Aramco and holds a B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering (Honours) from University College Dublin.
